The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service Kuccps, has released an update on the placement for KCSE 2024/2025 Candidates.

TRANSITION TO HIGHER LEARNING INSTITUTIONS FOR THE 2024 KCSE CANDIDATES

In his speech during the release of the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results, Education announced that all the 2024 KCSE candidates were eligible to progress to higher learning institutions depending on their grades.

Further to the CS’ announcement, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central
Placement Service (KUCCPS) wishes to inform the public that modalities are being worked out to start the processes of placing the 2024 KCSE candidates to various degree and TVET courses
for the 2025/2026 academic year.

In the impending placement exercise, all the 145,145 candidates who attained the minimum university entry requirement of C+ and above will be offered places in public and private universities under Government sponsorship.

Candidates who scored grades ranging from E to C plain will be eligible for government sponsorship in TVET institutions.

KUCCPS wishes to inform the candidates that only those who apply for placement in the various universities and TVET institutions will be considered.

The KUCCPS application portal will open in May 2025.

Candidates who applied for courses at school and would wish to revise their options will have an opportunity to make the changes when the portal opens.
