Kuccps Students Portal now open for 2024 applications

Portal now open for 2024 Placement Applications

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) wishes to announce the opening of application for placement of students to Universities, Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs), Technical Training Institutions (TVETS) and the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

The online application portal will close February 22, 2024.

All the 2023 KCSE and previous years’ candidates are invited to apply.

Programme Levels

  1. Degree Programmes

The minimum requirement for placement to Degree programmes is a KCSE Mean Grade of C+ (plus). Only 2023 KCSE candidates are eligible for placement to degree programmes.

  1. Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs)

All those who sat the KCSE examination between the years 2000 to 2023 are eligible to apply for Diploma in Teacher Education programmes.

  1. Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – March 2024 Intake

Candidates who sat the KCSE examination from the year 2014 to 2023 are eligible to apply for various pre-service Diploma and Certificate programmes.

  1. National Polytechnics, University TVET Institutes and other TVET institutions

Students who sat the KCSE examination from the year 2000 to 2023 are eligible to apply for placement to various courses in the institutions.

  1. Open University of Kenya

Applicants may also select various programmes offered at the Open University of Kenya. The minimum entry requirements for placement to the Open University of Kenya are available on the KUCCPS application portal ouk.kuccps.net or the Open University of Kenya website.

How to Apply

Log in to the Student’s Portal accessible via the KUCCPS website www.kuccps.ac.ke or through the link students.kuccps.net.

Available programmes, application guidelines, minimum requirements and offering institutions are accessible on the KUCCPS portal.

Payment Procedure

Applicants are advised to read and follow the payment instructions provided on the portal.  On submitting their choices, applicants will be prompted to make a payment. The payment procedure will be displayed on the portal after all the application steps are completed.

Application Support

KUCCPS has established support desks in various training institutions in all counties. Officers will be present at these centres during the application period to assist any applicant experiencing any challenges. The list of all the support centres is available HERE.

Huduma Centres

In addition to the KUCCPS offices in Nairobi and the application support desks in the counties, applicants can also visit any Huduma Centre nearest to them and ask for KUCCPS service point for specialised assistance.
