KUPPET latest resolutions on housing tax, promotions

KUPPET NGC MEETING, PANARI HOTEL

The KUPPET National Governing Council, NGC, met yesterday at the Panari Hotel, Nairobi.

Resolutions of the meeting

✅ That KUPPET will fight against any further taxation of teachers 3% towards housing scheme.

✅ That stagnation of teachers is resolved sooner than soonest.

✅ That the results of the just concluded interviews for all teachers is made public next week.

✅ That all TTC teachers must have clear promotion guidelines .

✅ That many ranks in the CPG is abolished .

✅ That all dismissed teachers to claim pensions or gratuity if they have taught for over 10 years and below respectively.

✅ That the management sports and co-curricular activities is reverted to schools through KESSHA .

✅ That all JSS teachers is paid accrued salaries and allowances for training.

✅ That the general working environments and conditions of JSS teachers is matched with that of their counterparts in Secondary schools.
