Legislator Initiates Classrooms Project at Kadawa Primary School

On Tuesday, Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina launched a classrooms project at Kadawa Primary School in the Mwea East sub-county.

The project will feature five modern classrooms equipped with tiles.

During the launch on February 25, 2025, MP Njeri Maina emphasized that her office advocated for this initiative after observing the ongoing marginalization of the local community, which has resulted in poor learning conditions for students.

The project, which is expected to cost 8 million shillings, will provide daily employment for over 40 individuals on-site, helping to improve their financial situation.

“I am troubled by the systemic inequality faced by low-income families regarding access to education. This project aims to close that gap and empower those from disadvantaged backgrounds,” she stated.
