The recent outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Covid-19, has taken the whole World by a storm. An infected person can spread the infection to a healthy person through eye, nose and mouth, via droplets produced on coughing or sneezing. Other modes of transmission include close contact with infected persons and contact with contaminated surfaces, objects or items of personal use.

The surest way of dealing with Corona Virus is preventing it; From washing your hands with soap to using hand sanitizers.

One of the easiest ways to avoid the spread of COVID-19 is proper, consistent hand hygiene. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds with running water. Wash your fingertips and under your nails. Wash your hands after every trip to the bathroom, blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing and before eating. Remember to Wash your hands quickly after coughing, sneezing, or dealing with sick people.

Hand sanitizers are rubbed on the hands to provide the first line of defence against the virus. The best sanitizers are those that are alcohol based. Alcohol-based hand sanitisers contain varying amounts and types of alcohol, often between 60% and 95% and usually isopropyl alcohol, ethanol (ethyl alcohol) or n-propanol. Alcohol is known to be able to kill most germs.
