The information herein is deemed relevant for consideration by IEBC in  determination of eligibility for registration of the following Aspirants seeking election for the following positions, in the August 2022 General Election.

1. JUSTUS    ZACHOUS ONYANGO JUMA 2884234 PRESIDENT JUSTICE    AND FREEDOM The Commission received a report that the  details of the  ID  Card  belong  to  one  Hannah  Wairimu  Kiguru, and   this   has   been   confirmed   by   the   National Registration Bureau by letter dated 31st May, 2022.
2. MATAYO       JARED OBWOGI 32416256 DEPUTY PRESIDENT REPUBLICAN LIBERTY PARTY The  Commission  is  verifying  whether  the  Aspirant resigned as an employee of the Ministry of Education as  at  9th February  2022 in  line  with  Section 43(5)  of the Elections Act, 2011.
3. MWANGI WA IRIA 9949560 PRESIDENT USAWA     KWA WOTE The Commission received and investigated allegations of  obstructing  EACC  investigators  and  destruction  of evidence    when    executing    a    search    warrant. Investigations   established   that   the   Aspirant   was culpable.  However,  the  aspirant  has  not  taken  plea due  to  a  stay  order  in  Muranga  High  Court  Petition No.2 of 2016. The matter is pending in court.
The Commission has also instituted a suit for recovery of  Kshs.  542  million  being  proceeds  of  corruption against  the  aspirant  in  ACEC  Civil  Suit  No.  E001  of 2022. The matter is pending in court.
