Magoha tells Varsities to stop setting up more campuses, KUCCPS portal for revision of courses still closed

Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has asked universities to cut down on number of non-technical staff and raise faculty levels. This is in a bid to prudently utilize the available resources.

Magoha also directed universities to stop the establishment of more satellite campuses in order to improve on quality.

He was speaking when opening the regional forum on university education reforms in Nairobi this morning.

This comes even as the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, KUCCPS, is yet to open its portal for revision of course choices by 2019 KCSE candidates.
