MAKUENI HIGH SCHOOL’S BRIEF HISTORY

Makueni Boys was founded in 1966. It is situated in Makueni County along Wote – Kathonzweni – Makindu road. The school is 10-minutes’ walk from the Makueni Governors offices. It was the first school in the county to be upgraded into a national School. The school Motto: “Like a tree Knowledge Grows” and has a population of 1028.

MAKUENI HIGH SCHOOL’S FORM ONE SELECTION CRITERIA & ADMISSIONS

Being a public school, form one admissions are done by the Ministry of Education. Vacancies are available on competitive basis. Those seeking admissions can though directly contact the school or pay a visit for further guidelines.

MAKUENI HIGH SCHOOL’S KCSE PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

The school has maintained a good run in performance at the Kenya National Examinations Council, KNEC, exams. In the 2018 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, exams the school registered a total of 245 candidates who managed to score a mean of a B (plain) with a performance index of 65.127. In 2019, the school had a mean score of 8.054 (B- minus); to finish at position seventy six (76) nationally.
