Matiliku Boys are on a mission at this year’s KSSSA National Term 2 games in Kakamega.
The 2023 Eastern Region Soccer Champs will be all out guns blazing after downing giants Machakos Boys at the the hotly contested final. The winner could not be decided in normal and extra time, as the teams drew 2 vs 2. The new kids on the block went on to win 5 vs 4 in post match penalties.
Their Technical bench is well packed. Former Harambee Stars Tactician, Francis Kimanzi, headlines the bench alongside Principal Johnstone Ndivo and Coach Ken Odhiambo.
Matiliku will battle it out with Rift Valley heavy weights, St Anthony’s Boys Kitake, Nairobi’s Dagoretti High and Coast Champs Serani.
They open their quest for the national title against St Anthony’s (aka Solidarity Boys) on Tuesday before they face Dagoretti a day later.
Their final group B match is against Serani; on Thursday 10th August, 2023.
The Eastern Region Boys will be relying on services of their exciting playmaker Dennis Muendo (aka Messi) to try and lift their maiden national title.
