REPORT BY THE ETHICS AND ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION [EACC] ON COMPLIANCE WITH INTEGRITY REQUIREMENTS BY ASPIRANTS SEEKING ELECTIVE POSITIONS IN THE GENERAL ELECTION OF 9^TH AUGUST, 2022

The Aspirant therefore requires to prove that he has preferred an appeal challenging the conviction, and the result thereof.

He was convicted on the count of impersonating an investigator of the Commission contrary to s. 34(1) as read with s. 34(2) of Anti- Corruption and Economic Crimes Act to a fine of Ksh. 300,000 or in default 1-year imprisonment and to the count of uttering a false document contrary to s. 349 of the Penal Code as read with sec. 353 of the Penal code, to a fine of Kshs. 300,000 or in default 1 year imprisonment. The Aspirant has further been charged in Court vide Case No. ACC. 518 of 2016 with counts relating to allegations of impersonating an EACC investigator and collects bribes from members of public. The matter is pending in court.

The matter is pending before court.

The matter is pending before court.
