Meet Bridget Ng’ang’a; A KMTC student whose application was reject three times before being admitted!

After three unsuccessful applications, I finally landed a chance at KMTC.

A new book, a new chapter!

My alarm went off at exactly 5:30 am.

I jumped out of bed, my heart racing with anticipation.

Today is the day I have been eagerly waiting for, the day that held the promise of new beginnings and boundless possibilities.

It is Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

My name is Bridget Ng’ang’a and this is my story.

About two weeks ago, I received a message from the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) that really shocked me.

After three unsuccessful applications, I was finally offered a chance to join the prestigious Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) to pursue a course in Diploma in Occupational Therapy.

I was in disbelief; hope had been reignited.

Many of you will wonder why I never gave up on my second or maybe third attempt; let me tell you this, I almost did, but I was not ready to let go.

The thought of attending another institution did not sit well with me.

It wasn’t just a matter of reputation or prestige; it was a matter of trust.

KMTC was more than just a College to me; it was where I hoped to build my future.

As I made my way through the gates of KMTC Nairobi Campus, I was a little bit nervous, tensed, and excited at the same time.

There was a sense of intense gratitude for the opportunity that lay before me.

Here I was, within the corridors of my dream College, eagerly waiting to acquire the skills and knowledge I needed to become an Occupational Therapist.

This was more than just a step in my personal and professional growth; it was the beginning of a journey that would shape my life.

Congratulations! 👏👏👏
