Moi Girls’ High School Vokoli Announces Public Forum Over Proposed Handover of Infrastructure to Kaimosi Friends University

Moi Girls’ High School Vokoli has announced plans to hold a public participation forum to discuss a proposal to hand over the school’s infrastructure to Kaimosi Friends University.

In a notice dated Friday, March 6, 2026, the school invited members of the public and key stakeholders to attend the meeting and give their views on the proposed transfer.

The forum is scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. and will take place at the Moi Girls’ High School Vokoli proposed university grounds.

According to the notice signed by Chief Principal and Board of Management Secretary Hellen Mabese Luhangala, the meeting aims to gather opinions, concerns, and suggestions from the community before any decision is made.

“The objective of this meeting is to gather views, concerns and suggestions from the community regarding this proposed transfer of utility,” the notice states.

School officials noted that the proposed handover could have significant implications for the future of the institution and the surrounding community, making stakeholder engagement an important part of the process.

Members of the public, parents, alumni, education stakeholders, and community leaders have been encouraged to attend and share their perspectives to help guide the decision-making process.

The school administration said it looks forward to active participation from the community as discussions continue on the possible transition of the school’s infrastructure to support the expansion of Kaimosi Friends University.
