About Mwalimu National SACCO

Mwalimu National Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited was established in the year 1974 under the Co-operative Societies Act, Cap 490. as a SACCO Society No CS/2265 whose main business is to mobilize savings and provide competitive financial services to its members.

There shall be two (2) classes of membership to the Society, with each class exercising different rights as stipulated in By-law 10. Members can access the Societies By-Laws on the website www.mwalimunational.coop or the Go-Mobile home page under Member Portal and be updated.

The SACCOs membership has since grown from eleven (11) members in the year 1974 to 104,939 as at 31st December, 2020. It has also been able to tailor make products and services that suit members unique and ever- changing tastes and preferences through continuous engagement with all stakeholders.

The Society also gives back to its community though CSI. This is done by supporting bright but needy children left behind by our deceased members and by sponsoring events within and without the education sector.
