The 2024 Kenya School Calendar
The school year in 2024 will begin on 8th January 2024 and end on 5th April 2024.
Term 1 in 2024 will run for 13 weeks, from 8th January 2024 to 5th April 2024. Students will then proceed to the April holiday break from 8th April 2024 to 26th April 2024. The half term break will last for 3 days; from 29th February 2024 to 3rd March, 2024
Term 2, 2024 will start on 29th April 2024 to 2nd August 2024, followed by a 3 days half term break from 20th June 2024 to 23rd June 2024. Schools will then close for a 3 weeks- long term 2 August holiday break; between 5th August 2024 and 23rd August 2024.
The third term in 2024 starts on 26th August 2024 and ends on 25th October 2024.
The 2024 KPSEA & KILEA assessments will run from 28th October 2024 to 31st October 2024. The 2024 KCSE candidates will sit for their final national exams starting from 4th November 2024 to 22nd November 2024.
