BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SACCO;
Newfortis Savings and credit Co-operative society was started in 1976 with membership of 857 drawn from the teachingfraternity that is Primary schools, Secondary school and Tertiary institutions. The society has already amended its By-laws to open up membership to include other Civil servants allover the Republic of Kenya and expand its catchments area to other counties. As at December 2019, its membership stood at 14890.
