NHIF gives latest information on the Linda Mama program
The National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) has denied claims that it has discontinued the government-funded Linda Mama program.
NHIF assures the public that the program is still active, with over 6 million mothers benefiting from it since its inception in 2017.
The program offers a one-year cover for four antenatal visits, delivery, three postnatal care visits, and vaccines for the child.
It also covers various conditions and complications incurred during pregnancy and offers both inpatient and outpatient services.
NHIF calls on the public to ignore false messages about the program’s discontinuation, which had circulated on social media in December
