ONLINE TRAINING FOR SENIOR SCHOOL TEACHERS ON CBA {KNEC CIRCULAR}

The Kenya NAtional Examinations Council, KNEC, through its Educational Assessment Resource Centre (EARC) has established an online self-paced training portal for Senior School teachers. The aim is to enable the teachers to acquire the requisite skills for Competency Based Assessment. Currently, access to the portal is free.

HOW TO ACCESS THE PORTAL

  1. Visit the Platform using the link ich ne; n elds sare rect https:/iebalms.knecac ke/
  2. Click “Sign Up”
  3. Complete youe profile. Make sure all compulsory fields are correctly filled. Then click register.
  4. Click on “My courses” then Click Course Catalog.
  5. Select the Senior School Course.
  6. Click on “Subscribe” button
  7. Select “Learning path”.
  8. Click ‘introduction’ to begin the course.

NOTE: You must finish one unit before you are allowed to proceed to the next unit.
