Overseas vacancies for Nurses: Govt advertises several job posts

The government is now seeking to recruit the second batch of specialist nurses for employment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Labour in an advert on Tuesday called for interested nurses who are qualified for the jobs to submit their applications.

To qualify for the jobs, the applicants must be female, Kenyan citizens aged 45 years or below.

According to the eligibility criteria by the ministry, the applicants must also be holders of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing or midwifery.

They must be a registered and licensed member of the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and be in possession of a valid Kenyan passport and police clearance certificate.

The basic terms of employment include a one-year renewable contract, with a minimum basic salary of 4,110,000 SAR (Sh141,321,964.24) and an additional 295 SAR (Sh10,143.55) for each year of experience.

Successful candidates will be required to work eight-hour shifts per day and enjoy a paid annual vacation round trip ticket under the economy flight class

Interested and qualified nurses are requested to sign up or register and apply through either the Ministry of Health Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recruitment platform or the National Employment Authority job portal.
