Payment of CBC allowance for teachers by TSC – Latest News

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, is ready to pay teachers who recently trained in CBC. However, there is a payment hitch for BOM teachers who were presented for training.

For the Commission to pay them just like their TSC counterparts, the Principal must immediately do an official letter to the TSC County Director :

1.indicating that the teacher is a BOM teacher in his/her school
2.That the Principal permitted the teacher to attend CBC training from 9th to 12th May 2022 because of shortage of TSC teachers in the school.
3.Consequently, request the Commission to grant the teacher necessary recognition and cooperation, including when it comes to reimbursements for lunch and transport.
4.The letter must be backdated to 5th or 6th May 2022(before the training commenced).
5.The letter be written through the TSC SCD who should forward it,sign and date(I doubt the necessity).
6.In the letter, indicate the teacher’s TSC no, phone number and ID number.

You can send the signed letter to the TSC County Director.
