Peter Tabichi Wins Prestigious Commonwealth Education Award 2022 – Details

Peter Tabich, the 2019 Global Teacher Award addressing the participants of the 1st Teachers Service Commission Teachers Conference at the Kenya School of Government on June 21st to 22nd, 2019.

Outstanding Teacher category finalist Peter Tabichi from Keriko Mixed Day Secondary School Nakuru County emerged as the winner of Global Teacher Prize at the 2022 Commonwealth Education Awards.

Twenty educators and projects have made the 2022 Commonwealth Education Awards shortlist for their positive impact on students, teachers, and education systems across the Commonwealth.

The twenty shortlisted entries were chosen by an expert panel of judges in the following categories:

  • Rethinking Education for Innovation
  • Rethinking Education for Work
  • Rethinking Education for Sustainability
  • Education as Pathways to Peace
  • Education for Inclusion
  • Commonwealth Outstanding Teacher or School Leader
