A crime Scene secured by the Police.
Following a break-in at St. Jonathan Primary and Secondary School in the Rongo area of Migori County’s West Kanyamamba sub-location, police have begun an inquiry.
George Omuono, the area assistant chief, stated that the event led to the theft of numerous goods, such as six laptops.
He stated that the burglars broke into the administration block that served both the primary and secondary sections.
In addition to the six laptops, the gang stole a gas cylinder from the primary section and printed school uniforms, all of which remain missing.
The thieves stole a printer and a generator from the secondary section as well, but they left those items inside the school premises.
“Some form four students who went to check on their agriculture project reported the break-in,” Omuono said.
The police are actively carrying out investigations, but no suspects have been detained thus far.
Just days earlier, at Okenge Primary School in Nyatike sub-county of Migori County, eight laptops were stolen in a similar manner.
