Posta Kenya launches new long distance Buses charging low fares

The Postal Corporation of Kenya also known as Posta Kenya has joined the growing list of state corporations venturing into the transport industry.

Posta announced it has launched long-distance bus services along West Kenya noting the new buses will operate along the Nairobi -Kisumu – Busia route.

The prices according to Posta have been set at Ksh1,600. This becomes a competitive option as we embark on the Christmas holiday season.

The new buses are labelled Postliner and are branded with the agency’s customary white, red and blue colours.

Travellers have been asked to reach out to it for details of more services offered.

This comes after Kenya Railways introduced buses to various routes like Embakasi, Ruiru, and Kikuyu from the Central Business District (CBD). The buses charge fairly low prices.
