All Kenyans and residents of Kenya are required to register afresh to benefit from the SHIF.
The SHIF Registration can be done through:
1) a self-registration USSD code *147#,
2) the website http://sha.go.ke, with assistance from Community Health Promoters, or
3) by visiting NHIF Offices and other designated registration points.
The registration exercise will be free of charge.
