Roles performed by KUCCPS and where to get university, College, Polytechnic admission and other services

In an effort to take services closer to everyone, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has established service desks in 11 Huduma Centres across the country.

Students, parents, guardians and other stakeholders seeking services may now access them in the Nairobi (Makadara), Eldoret, Meru, Nyeri, Kisumu, Kakamega, Nakuru, Kitui, Garissa and Mombasa Huduma Centres.

Online services

A wide range of online services are also provided by KUCCPS. The services can be accessed via:

KUCCPS is a Government agency that selects students for admission to public and private universities, national polytechnics, technical training institutes and other accredited colleges, under Government sponsorship. Through KUCCPS, students can apply for placement to artisan, certificate, diploma and degree courses.

KUCCPS was established to coordinate the placement of Government-sponsored students to Kenyan universities and colleges; develop and implement career guidance programmes; disseminate information on available programmes; and collect and retain data relating to university and college placement, among other functions. KUCCPS is the Government of Kenya body that undertakes the selection of students for admission to higher learning institutions for Government sponsorship.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is established under the Universities Act, 2012.
