Shanzu Diploma Teacher’s Training College Located along Mombasa – Malindi road near Shimo La Tewa prison. Shanzu Diploma Teachers’ Training College started operating with effect from May, 1967. Shanzu Diploma Teachers’ Training College, is built on a 45 hectare plot, 16km North of Mombasa Island, along the Mombasa/Malindi road near Shimo La Tewa Primary School, Mombasa County.
SHANZU TTC KUCCPS ADMISSION COURSES
Course 1: Diploma in Primary Teacher Education
Minimum Overall KCSE Requirement: Mean grade of C (plain) OR Mean Grade of C – (minus) for visually and hearing impaired persons.
Minimum KCSE Subject Requirements: None (Not required).
Course 2: Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education
Minimum Overall KCSE Requirement: Mean Grade of C+
Minimum KCSE Subject Requirements:
- Arts/Non-Science: C+ in Two Teaching Subjects. English: C Plain, Mathematics: D+
- Science: C+ in Two Teaching Subjects. English: C Plain, Mathematics: C Plain
