Sironga Girls High school full details

Sironga Girls High School, located in Nyamira County,was Established in 1968 under the sponsorship of the Seventh Day Adventist Church,

It initially served both genders before transitioning to a girls’ boarding school.

In 1972, Pastor Johnson Ageki Mainda Omenge spearheaded the initiative to start a one-streamed girls’ secondary school.

Despite limited facilities, dedicated educators led by Mr. Peterson Meroka ensured 45 girls began their studies.

Over the years, Sironga Girls High School has excelled academically, becoming renowned for its impressive performance index in national exams.

It currently has a population of 3816 Students under Chief Principal Jane Nyanumba.

Sironga Girl’s is an institution of excellence modeling young women into world class leaders and trendsetters.

Sironga Girls’ vision is to  develop students wholistically-spiritually, mentally and intellectually.

Sironga High School is located in Nyamira County.We are a National Girl’s only school and extremely proud of the exemplary KCSE performance our candidates record year by year.

Sironga Girls is home to over 1500 students from all over the country and beyond our borders.

The Sironga community under the initiative of Pastor Johnson Ageki Mainda Omenge started a one streamed Girls Harambee Secondary School under the sponsorship of SDA church in 1972.

Since there was no physical facilities available, the team of teachers of Sironga Primary School led by Mr. Peterson Meroka availed one classroom, hence 45 girls commenced learning as Form ones in February 1968.

Temporal structures were put up as dormitories and all the students stayed in school.
