Stage set for the 2024 KSSSA National Term 2 Games in Kisii

The stage is set for this year’s Kenya Secondary School Sports Association (KSSSA) term 2 games.

Kisii has been considered to host the prestigious games set to take place from Thursday, August 1st to Wednesday, August 8th, 2024.

The games will see teams from all over the nation that emerged champions from their respective regions during the concluded regional games battle it out for the National Championship in respective categories.

The week-long game event aimed to celebrate youth sports and community engagement will begin with the scheduled arrival of referees’ clinics on Thursday, 1st August to Thursday , 8th August..

Teams from the country will arrive in Kisii on Friday 2nd August marking the official start of the event where they will have a rest day on Saturday 3rd August to acclimate and prepare, featuring a tree-planting initiative to promote environmental awareness on 3rd of August.

The opening ceremony will officially be launched to the tournament on Sunday 4th of August, followed by the first round of preliminary matches which will continue immediately on the same day, 5 th of August to 7th of August, as teams compete for a spot in the knockout stages further narrowing the field of competitors for the semi-finals on Sunday, 8th August is determining the top teams that will advance to the final showdown.

Thursday , 8th August, the event will culminate with the finals, followed by a closing ceremony to celebrate the achievements of all participants and well crowning of the champions in the respective categories.

This year’s KSSSA National Level games promise to be an exciting and memorable event, showcasing the best of youth sports and fostering community spirit.
