Sufferings Teachers and Civil Servants Undergo; Must read

THE CURSE OF KENYAN CIVIL SERVANT

Civil servant monthly deductions:
PAYE 30 percent
NSSF 6 percent
NHIF 3 percent
Housing Levy 3 percent
VAT 16 percent
TOTAL 58 percent.

Out of 42 percent, deduct:

For teachers AON Minet Ksh 4500.

Then subtract: a)All loans(Coop, banks, app loans, mortgages, all forms of advances).

b)Then distribute the balance on:

i) monthly food budget
ii) electricity
iii)transport
iv)water
v)fees
vi)domestic workers
vii) parents
viii)siblings
ix)aunt’s
x)uncles
xi)church.

c)Pay for other bills such as:
i) self entertainment
ii) bar bills
iii)chamas
iv) family funeral and wedding expenses through harambee
v) some times pay fees for relatives

d) You are expected to save for your
i)retirement
ii) medical bills
iii) At times pay fees for your grand children

e)After retirement prepare for:
i) delayed pension
ii) your death
