BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SACCO;
The society was registered on 9th May 1995 by the registrar of societies through the influence of Kenya National Union of Teacher (KNUT), Mwingi Branch under c/s number 7497 with a pioneer membership of 27. To date our membership is over 3,500  employees.

Members are drawn from both primary and secondary school teachers, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) secretariat, KNUT and BBF employees.
