Teachers facing challenges as deadline for TSC Promotions’ applications nears

Thousands of teachers risk missing out on the current promotions by the Teachers Service Commission, TSC, due to system hitches.

As the TSC promotion application deadline nears, several teachers are yet to apply on the online portal.

The Teachers have been seeking help from Tsc on various challenges affecting application for promotion.

Most of them cannot get the help they need because probably the TSC ICT Staff could be off duty for the end year celebrations.

The reported challenges range from: wrong phone number in the the Teachers Management Information System, TMIS to absence from the school TMIS portal.

Others have details mismatch on the TSC portal prompting the system to tell applicants to contact the TSC System administrator.

Extension of application period.

The Teachers are now calling on the Commission to extend the application period so as not to miss on the promotions.

2. Surname
3. ID Number
4. State Highest Qualification
5. State whether you have Diploma in Education
6. State whether you have Degree In Education
7. State whether you have masters Degree.
8. Main Teaching Subject and its KCSE Score
9. Minor Subject and its KCSE Score
10. Disability. Yes or No.
11. PWD No. if Yes
12. Tpade Average Marks for 2021, 2022 and 2023
13. Date of Appointment to the current grade
