Teachers are set to receive free newspapers after they signed a deal with with one of the most popular newspaper company. The over 300,000 teachers will receive a free copy of the daily nation e-paper for one month after a deal was signed between the Nation Media Group (NMG) and the Kenya National Union of Teachers, knut.
NMG Chief Executive Officer Stephen Gitagama said on Wednesday that teachers will receive a 30 days’ free subscription to the e-papers, and they will access all the papers online.
The deal will see the teachers receive the papers for an initial period of one month subject to renewal of the deal in future that will see the tutors receive the papers at a Subsidized cost Sh20.
The agreement that was signed between NMG and the Kenya National Union of Teachers will see teachers receive Daily Nation, Business Daily, The East African and Taifa Leo newspapers. Usually the Daily Nation, Business Daily, The East African cost sh40 while the Taifa Leo costs Sh20.
HOW TO GET THE E-PAPERS
To sign up for the papers;
- Visit the NMG’s e-paper platform at; https://newsstand.nationmedia.com/Kenya
- Click ‘Register’.
- Select ‘individual account’ and fill out the details in the form. Click ‘register’ once done.
- Proceed to log in by entering your email and password.
