The Education Ministry has asked all Regional Directors of Education to inform schools on the 2019 Queens Commonwealth Essay Competition.
Here is the communique;
RE: QUEENS COMMONWEALTH ESSAY COMPETITION, 2019.
Following the receipt of an invitation by the Office of Education Attache, Kenya High Commission UK, you are requested to ensure that the attached Essay Competition Pamphlet is distributed to the schools within your jurisdiction for participation.
The purpose of the competition is to promote values of Commonwealth. It also gives a chance to young learners to develop written English skill and share their views and experiences with global audience.
