Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) 2021 is set to be released today by the Education Cabinet Secretary, George Magoha.

Candidates, their parents, and guardians can access the results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website, SMS platforms, county education offices, and the respective schools.

For the SMS option, the candidates should send their index number, followed by the initials KCPE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results.

The system would be accessible at the end of the official release of the results. The SMS platform is available for all mobile networks and will be charged 25 shillings each.

Students are also advised not to have spacing between the index number and the initials KCPE. Due to the urgency and high demand for the results, Magoha advises that the platform may experience delays and asked the students to be patient.

More than 1.2 million pupils sat for KCPE. This is the highest number that the examination has ever seen, but that is not surprising because that number grows every other year. In 2020, nearly 1.2 million students sat for the same examinations.
