TSC Circular on filing KRA Tax returns 2025

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has released a circular on filing of the 2025 Kenya Revenue Authority, KRA, tax returns for teachers and staff.

According to the circular, teachers have up to the 30th June to file their tax returns online.

“In compliance with the provisions of the Income [ez-toc], all TSC employees are required to file their individual income tax returns for the year 2024 through the KRA online iTax platform (https://itax.kra.go.ke), by 30th June 2025.” The circular reads in part.

TO: All Teachers
All Secretariat Staff

FILING OF INDIVIDUAL INCOME TAX RETURNS FOR THE YEAR 2024:

In compliance with the provisions of the Income Tax Act, all TSC employees are required to file their individual income tax returns for the year 2024 through the KRA online iTax platform (https://itax.kra.go.ke), by 30th June 2025.

To facilitate this, employees can download their Tax deduction cards (P9 Forms) on the TSC T-pay portal.

In case of any challenges in filing the returns, you may seek assistance from TSC Accounts Division ( PAYE-Section) through the following contacts: (020) 289-2000 Ext:2401/2382 or 0722208552/077208502, or email: info@tsc.go.ke.
