TSC collecting data on teachers with Diploma and Bachelor’s degrees for possible posting to JSS & secondary schools.

TSC latest circular on teacher qualifications

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is conducting an assessment aimed at finding out the number of primary teachers with Diploma and Bachelor’s degrees for possible posting in Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) and secondary schools.

The RDE and CDE across the Country have been directed to collect and submit the data of these teachers on or before July 11,2024.

The Commission is also likely to use the data of the teachers with higher academic qualifications to replace secondary school teachers who have exited TSC payroll effective July 1, 2024 through retirement.
