TSC job applications and documents verification- Best step by step guide

NEXT STEP AFTER TEACHER INTERNSHIP APPLICATION??
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS.

Have you applied for the recently advertised Teachers Service Commission, TSC, vacancies? What are you supposed to prepare as you wait for that invitation message?

Here is your complete list of must do steps in order to secure the TSC job:

1. KCPE certificate( If you did KCPE more than once, have certificate for all the attempts)

2) Primary school leaving certificates( If you transferred or stayed more than 8 years in a school, your certificates should cover all the years)

3) KCSE Certificate( If resat, provide certificates for all attempts)

4) Secondary School leaving certificate ( should cover all the years of your secondary education)

5) Degree/Diploma certificate

6) Transcripts bearing minimum of 8 units per teaching subjects( they usually count the number of units)

7. Your ID card

8) sworn Affidavit if names differ in your documents

9) NHIF/SHA cover
( can be asked during or after verification)

10) Personal accident cover
( can be asked during or after verification)

11) KRA PIN certificate

12) GP69(can be asked during or after the verification)

13) TSC Registration certificate
( A printout of the TSC registration also serves the same purpose)

14) NSSF registration
( you just need to register if you haven’t)

15) Birth certificate if DOB in one of the documents differs with the one on ID.

16. Bank plate( photocopy your ATM)

17. Graduation Booklet.

NB: In February 2023, some applicants were forced to bring marriage certificates and letters from chiefs while others forwarded their fathers title deeds as evidence that they hailed from the subcounties of verification!
