For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-

i. Served satisfactorily as a Curriculum Support Officer for a minimum period of six (3) years;

ii. Bachelor of degree in  Education or a Bachelor’s Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized Institution;

iii. Certificate in computer application skills;

v. Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognized institution;

iii. Masters degree in Education/special education from a recognized institution;

iv. Certificate in computer applications skills;

v. Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;

vii. Attended a Management course lasting for not less than 2 weeks
