The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has posted the February 2026 payslips online. The payslips were posted on Monday 23rd February 2026.
The posting of the payslips came days after the Commission paid the February salaries and allowances to teachers.
Teachers can now access their payslips online at the tpay portal.
A TSC payslip is an important document for teachers as it is used for various functions like:
1. Application for loan facilities: The TSC payslip is a proof of ability of a teacher to service a Sacco or bank loan. It is sent online to the bank or Sacco upon application for a loan facility.
2. Track salary and allowance payments: The TSC payslip shows the latest salary scale and allowances paid to a teacher. It displays the monthly basic salary, allowances (like housing rental and commuter).
3. Check deductions: The payslip shows the running deductions; both statutory and third party. Statutory deductions include: Housing levy, Medical, NSSF, Pay As You Earn, Provident fund among others. On the other hand, third party deductions are such deductions as loans, Burial and Benevolent Fund (BBF), Union dues and Insurance.
4. Confirm personal details: You can use the TSC online payslip to confirm such details as your current job grade and station.
5. The TSC payslip can also be used as bond to bail out a colleague, friend or relative from police custody.
