TSC set to hire 10,000 intern teachers

The Teachers Service Commission, is set to hire 10,000 intern teachers to try and close the teething shortage. The Commission is expected to release the advert on the new posts. TSC targets to employ close to 80,000 teachers in order to plug the shortage. The teachers to be employed on contract terms will earn far much less than their counterparts on permanent basis.
