TSC – Teachers to handle Languages at Junior Secondary School and their qualifications

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has released a circular on Teachers to handle various subjects at Junior Secondary School and their qualifications. In the circular, the teachers’ employer has also specified the Curriculum Based Establishment (CBE) and the number of lessons to be taught weekly.

LEARNING AREAS CLUSTERS FOR JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

1.   LANGUAGES

Teachers trained and qualified to teach languages (English/Kiswahili/Foreign/Indigenous) will be called upon teach the learning areas shown in Table 1 below
