TSC to post more teachers, administrators to the North Eastern Region

Are you looking for a Teachers Service Commission, TSC, teaching and administrative vacancy? Look no further. The North-Eastern regions will get more teachers compared to other counties in new recruitment of over 1,625 teachers; this year.

The recruitment by the Teachers Service Commission Targets Principals, Deputy principals in both regular and Special Needs Education (SNE) schools.

Also wanted are Deputy Headteachers, Senior masters, Senior teachers, High school teachers, Primary and Junior Secondary.

The successful candidates will be employed on permanent, pensionable, contractual terms while others will be interns.

349 positions will go for principals in regular schools, 11 in Special Needs Education, Nine deputy principals I, and Deputy principals II.

Meanwhile, 363 slots were advertised for teachers,13 for both deputy principal III in regular as well as in Special Needs Education.

328 more intern teachers will be hired for Junior Secondary Schools, 88 primary school teachers and 86 high school teachers will be hired on a contract and seven permanent and pensionable in high school.

Notably North Eastern will get the highest number standing at 170; Garissa County is expected to get 36 while Wajir will get 55 teachers.

Rift Valley region will get 15 teachers while Eastern will get 57 intern teachers for Junior Secondary Schools.

TSC will post all 86 contracted and seven permanent and pensionable high school teachers in the North Eastern region.

Other regions to reap from the posting will be Rift Valley 17 teachers on P and P, nine Eastern, and eight Nyanza, while Central, Western and Coast will receive one each.

The teacher’s employer also is hiring 105 teachers including 26 senior masters, 10 senior teachers and 69 deputy head teachers in Asal areas.
