The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has transferred about 12 Principals in Bungoma County. The 12 Principals were transferred in April, 2019, as the Commission carries on with its delocalization programme. The Kenya National Union of Teachers, KNUT, is though opposed to the current delocalization exercise which it is blaming for piling stress to the affected teachers and separation of families. Delocalization of Institutional administrators is provided for in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, CBA, that was negotiated and signed between teachers’ unions and the TSC in October 2016.
