TSC Upgrade Programme for P1 Teachers

TSC KENYA has announced an Upgrade Programme for serving P1 teachers, supported by the World Bank. The programme will allow eligible teachers to advance to diploma or degree level.

TSC is collecting data for P1 teachers who:

Have a KCSE Mean Grade of C+ with at least C+ in two subjects, but no diploma/degree.

Have a KCSE Mean Grade of C with at least C+ in two subjects, but no diploma/degree.

Next Steps

Regional directors to collect and submit data using the provided Excel template.

Deadline for submission: 29th August 2025.

The goal is to strengthen staffing in Junior Secondary Schools.
