Sad! Nandi Branch KUPPET Officials attacked by a BOM Chair at a board meeting

Kuppet Nandi officials led by Executive Secretary Sir Rotich, Treasurer Bakhit and Assistant Treasurer Songok were on Friday attacked at AIC Kimong Secondary School. Trouble started when they stood up to defend a teacher who was facing baptism by fire at a disciplinary meeting; convened within the school.

Suddenly, the BOM chair (One Jeremia Ruto) sprung to his feet and unleashed KungFu like blows and kicks.

The union officials were forcefully evicted from the board meeting that was aimed at persecuting an innocent teacher.

But, the officials stayed put and waited outside the boardroom; to ensure there was no further execution of the teachers’ case.

Under the Labour laws’ provisions, a teacher facing a disciplinary action has every right to be defended by the union.
