How to check and download form one Admission Letter 2024- Ultimate procedure

There are two ways for a candidate to check the school in which he/she has been selected, i.e. by short SMS code and by checking online on the website of the Ministry.

How to use the short message code process.

For candidate 2023 KCPE index number send SMS code number to 22263

An immediate response message from the ministry will be sent to your inbox with the 2024 Form One selection details.

NB- The cost of sending a message to the ministry is Ksh 25 which is applicable to all mobile networks.

2023 KCPE candidates can now download their admission letters through the online platform provided by the Ministry of Education.

Students and parents should note that secondary schools do not send admission letters to students rather they are supposed to download from the online platform.

In order to download your admission letter, you can follow the following instructions;

Fist select the county an then the sub-county you sat for KCPE in and then enter your index number then click submit.

The you can click on the link labelled ‘admission letter’ at the bottom of the page to download a copy of your admission letter.

Use the print button to download you letter to your computer.

On the space provided on the admission letter, you can visit your school so that the headteacher can endorde that letter.

You will finally be required to present the endorsed admission letter during admission together with your certified copy of your birth certificate.
