Giving a new dimension to convenience and comfort for the Kenya
Medical Training College (KMTC) students, Health Principal Secretary Ms. Susan Mochache, on Thursday (June 16, 2022), flagged off seven modern buses at the College headquarters in Nairobi.

The seven buses for Wajir, Karuri, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kisii, Eldoret and Rachuonyo Campuses are an addition to the fleet of vehicles owned by the College.

“The buses will facilitate students to their clinical placement areas and the community easily and conveniently where they serve even as they learn, enhancing access to health services,” she said.

On his part, KMTC Board Chairperson Amb. Zachary Muburi-Muita reiterated the Board’s commitment to providing the requisite resources needed to promote high-quality training.

“Over the last 95 years of the College’s existence, it has steadfastly remained committed to achieving its mandate of releasing competent health professionals into the Kenyan health sector,” he added.
