Education Ministry releases guidelines on implementation of upper primary (Grade 4, 5 and 6) Curriculum

The Ministry of Education has released guidelines on roll out of Competency Based Curriculum, CBC, for Upper Primary (Grade 4, 5 and 6). According to the latest circular from the Ministry, all primary schools; both public and private, will roll out CBC in upper primary in January 2020 in Grade 4, followed by the roll out in Grade 5 in 2021 and Grade 6 in 2022. The Ministry has further given guidelines on time allocation, lesson distribution and learning areas.
