Helb Second and Subsequent Loan Application Guide on Mobile App

SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT LOAN APPLICATION GUIDE ON  HELB MOBILE APP

Here is the Higher Education Loans Board (Helb) guide on using the mobile app to apply for loans.

NB: Before you begin the application ensure the telephone number you use is a Safaricom line registered under your ID number. Your name on M-PESA and ID should be the same.

STEP 1:__________

Download the HELB app from Google Play store.

STEP 2_____________

Register using your phone number to genera. a pin which you will use to log in.

STEP 3:_______________

Read, understand and click to accept the license agreement.

STEP 4 ________

Enter your first name as it appears in your ID, ID number and valid email address to complete registration.

STEP 5: _________

Click on “loans” tab and chose either certificate loans or diploma loans. Then click “Apply” on the TVET second and subsequent loan.

STEP 6:_________

Read and understand the financial literacy guide.

STEP 7;___________

Answer the financial literacy questions and scroll down to view result and click “proceed”.

STEP 8: _________

Click “confirm” to verify your telephone number by paying Kshs. 1 to M-PESA.

Read the loan agreement and click on ‘I agree,

STEP 10;__________

Click ‘submit’. A pop-up message will appear to show that you have successfully applied. The loan serial number will also be displayed.
