Kuccps extends placement 2024/2025 application deadline again

KUCCPS CEO RESPONDS TO THE OUTCRY OF MANY KENYANS DUE TO WEBSITE FAILURE

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service, Kuccps, has extended the application and revision deadline for the 2024/2025 placement applications. According to the Kuccps CEO, the extension is due to the current system failure which has made many applicants unable to file their applications online.

“I am well aware of the frustrations parents and students are experiencing as they make their applications” says Dr. Wahome.

She has now directed and says that:

1. The application deadline will be extended until we are sure no one is disadvantaged.

2. We did away with school applications so everyone is a first time applicant.

3. We are now on eCitizen. The process of payment validation is longer than before and this has affected us significantly.

4. The success of an application is not dependent on the time of day.

5. We will have 2 revision exercises to allow those who will not have applied or will not have secured a course. For TVET we have 2 other placements in the year and for KMTC we have another placement for the September class.
