The Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) is Kenya Revenue Authority’s premier training school specializing in Tax and Customs Administration, and Fiscal Policy. The School is one of the four accredited World Customs Organization (WCO) Regional Training Centre (RTC) in East and Southern Africa.

Pursuant to this objective, KESRA is seeking to recruit highly motivated visionary, dynamic and results oriented candidates to fill the post of Part Time Lecturers.

Overall Job Purpose

Provide academic and administrative support to academic staff and students.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
1). Lecture planning
2). Teaching and tutorials
3). Develop teaching and Learning techniques
4). Curriculum development
5). Assessing students
Setting, Moderation and invigilating examinations
6). Maintain assessment records and provide information to stakeholders
7). Writing research papers and other publications
8). Participate in Course development
9). Supervising student research
10). Consultancy and corporate training
11). Participate in conferences, workshops and seminars

Core Competencies
1). Communication skills
2). Interpersonal skills
3). Organization skills

Key Qualifications and Experience
1). Must possess a Masters degree in a relevant field
2). Must possess a Bachelors degree of Second Class Upper division in a relevant field
3). Must have at least four(4) years experience in either of the following areas; Entrepreneurship, Business Laws& Ethics, Fundamentals of Accounting, Safety& Security, Management & Communication skills and Business Mathematics & Statistics.
4). KESRA qualifications is an added advantage.
5). Must be actively affiliated to a professional body.

B). Log on:
1). After registration go to https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login
2). Key in your username and password then click on ‘Log in’ to access your account.
3). After successful log in, the system will open the ‘Applicant Cockpit’.

Candidate Profile (To create or update applicant detail):
1). On the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page, go to the tab ‘Candidate Profile’.
Click on ‘My Profile’ to create and update your profile.
2). Follow the instructions to complete your profile.
3). The process will end by clicking the tab ‘Overview and Release’.
4). Ensure you click the checkbox on the page to complete the profile.

Application process:
1)./To view the open job postings click on the tab ‘Employment Opportunities’ on the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page.
2). Under the heading ‘Job Search’ click the ‘Start’ button to view all available vacancies.
3). Click on the Job posting to display the details of the position.
4). To apply for the position, click ‘Apply’ button at the top of the page.
5). Follow the instructions to complete and submit your application.
6). Kindly note that all mandatory fields must be completed.
7). To complete the process of application, click the ‘Send
8). Application Now’ button after reviewing and accepting the ‘Data Privacy Statement’.
